Help AG is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Security Engineer - Fortinet who will mainly have specialized expertise using Fortinet technologies. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive

knowledge and hands-on experience in the following areas:

  • Fortinet Firewalls.
  • Forti Manager and Forti Analyzer.
  • A strong understanding of the platform, its core priorities and SD-WAN software in general.
  • SD-WAN implementation and testing.
  • Routing and switching.
  • WAN technologies MPLS, Leased line, ADSL, and VPN solutions.
  • Design and Implementation.
  • Management & Log Analyzer.

Job requirements

Responsibilities


  • Act as an SME for in-scope technologies for Help AG customers.
  • Plan technical deployments to design & implement the network security services.
  • Configure & implement new Fortinet firewall products into live network environment.
  • Able to design, deploy, operate, monitor, maintain and troubleshoot complex IP networks and interconnected network security technologies.
  • Coordinate implementation activity.
  • Implement, deploy & provision managed WAN, IP, VPN & MPLS solutions.
  • Deploy bespoke solutions for customer requirements.
  • Deliver customer solutions as per design/order requirement.
  • Liaise with external suppliers to coordinate for service delivery.
  • Provide timely response to all incidents, outages, and performance alerts.
  • Takes responsibility for handling escalated incidents.
  • Consult with other technology support groups as part of problem resolution efforts.

Qualifications & Skills


  • Expert knowledge and experience with Fortinet, Forti Manager and Forti Analyzer, Enterprise
  • Network Security, Cyber Security and IPS systems.
  • Should have expert and in-depth knowledge of complex IP networks.
  • Should have solid understanding of Network security technologies, data center traffic flow and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
  • Encryption/ Firewall/SD-WAN.
  • Configure and test customer services / build and document processes and mentor team members.
  • Routing protocols (BGP, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS).
  • Testing L3 devices (PE Routers), CPEs.
  • TCP / IP, OSI Layer protocol suites.
  • WAN protocols and troubleshooting.
  • Should have network operations / security operations experience.
  • Self-motivated and a professional attitude.
  • Excellent customer facing skills.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Excellent teambuilding, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess good decision-making skills, be very organized and detail oriented.
  • Skills in handling technical conflicts, organizational challenges, planning and implementation challenges.
  • Judgment, decision making, cooperation, sensitivity to others, technical problem-solving, system troubleshooting, and business writing.
