Manager - Solution Architect (Client)

Help AG is looking for a highly skilled Manager - Solutions Architect (Client) will be based at the client location who will be responsible for leading the Solutions Architecture function, ensuring the design and delivery of cutting-edge IT and cybersecurity solutions that align with customer business needs and organizational strategy. This role requires a blend of strong technical expertise, pre-sales leadership, team management, and customer engagement. The individual will work closely with sales, delivery, and product teams to position the company as a trusted advisor, while driving innovation, scalability, and profitability through solutions architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Solutions Architects and Pre-Sales Consultants.

• Define the strategic vision for the Solutions Architecture function and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Establish solution frameworks, reference architectures, and best practices across technology domains (Cloud, Cybersecurity, OT/IT Security, Network & Infrastructure, Applications).

• Support business growth by aligning technology roadmaps with customer needs and market trends.

• Build strong relationships with OEMs, vendors, and technology partners to stay updated on new products and innovations.

• Partner with the sales team to engage with clients, understand business requirements, and design tailored technical solutions.

• Lead the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, and presentations to senior stakeholders.

• Oversee Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) and solution demonstrations, ensuring successful validation and customer confidence.

• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling solutions across portfolios.

• Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, aligning solutions with business outcomes.

• Architect and validate complex, large-scale IT and cybersecurity solutions including cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premises environments.

• Drive enterprise-level architecture initiatives, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant solution designs.

• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions can be delivered successfully and sustainably.

• Provide technical governance across solution design, ensuring alignment with frameworks such as NIST, CIS, Zero Trust, ISO27001, and IEC 62443 (for OT environments).

• Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the Solutions Architect function.

• Provide oversight during project handover to delivery teams to ensure continuity and success.

• Support the creation of solution accelerators, reusable templates, and internal knowledge repositories.

• Continuously assess and improve solution design processes to enhance efficiency and quality.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 12+ years of progressive experience in IT solutions architecture, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.

• Proven track record of leading pre-sales and solution architecture teams within IT services, consulting, or cybersecurity organizations.

• Strong experience designing enterprise-grade solutions in one or more of the following areas:

  • Cybersecurity: SOC, SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, PAM, IAM, Cloud Security.

  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Azure, AWS, GCP, hybrid cloud, data center modernization.

  • Networking & OT/IT Security: Firewalls, OT security, ICS/SCADA, Zero Trust architectures.

  • Applications & Data: Application security, DevSecOps, data protection, analytics.

• Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, SABSA).

• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards: GDPR, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, IEC 62443.

• Hands-on understanding of cybersecurity tools, enterprise IT systems, and cloud platforms.

• Excellent understanding of integration between IT, OT, and Cloud technologies.

• TOGAF, SABSA, or equivalent enterprise architecture certification.

• Cloud certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Architect.

• Cybersecurity certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GICSP, or equivalent.

• Strong leadership and people management skills.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business audiences.

• Strategic thinker with a customer-centric and consultative mindset.
