Help AG is looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join as an IAM SailPoint Consultant, who should be having expertise in specializing Identity and Access Management (IAM) with a strong focus on SailPoint IdentityIQ. This critical role, based on-site at, involves leading complex IAM projects with an emphasis on application onboarding, system integration, and the enhancement of existing SailPoint functionalities. The candidate will act as a key technical advisor and implementer, ensuring that identity governance framework supports secure, efficient, and compliant access management aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Job requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of the end-to-end onboarding process for new applications into the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform, ensuring seamless integration, compliance with security policies, and smooth operational handover.

  • Design, develop, and refine SailPoint connectors and integration workflows for a variety of target systems, including but not limited to Active Directory (AD), LDAP, databases, and cloud-based SaaS applications.

  • Configure and customize SailPoint components such as lifecycle events, rules, workflows, and provisioning processes to meet evolving business and security requirements.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, IAM architects, and application owners to gather detailed onboarding requirements.

  • Continuously review and optimize existing SailPoint configurations including certifications, roles, and policies. Implement best practices for role management, access reviews, and policy enforcement to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal governance.

  • Lead and execute unit testing of SailPoint customizations and enhancements. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts and provide expert assistance during the deployment and post deployment phases to ensure a stable production environment.

  • Provide expert-level technical support for SailPoint platform issues. Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex provisioning and integration errors to minimize downtime and maintain service quality.

  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of all configurations, customizations, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures.


Qualifications & Skills


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience working with SailPoint IdentityIQ in large-scale enterprise environments, specifically in roles focused on application onboarding, lifecycle management, and identity governance.

  • Expertise in developing and customizing SailPoint workflows, lifecycle events, rules, and provisioning processes.

  • Strong scripting skills, particularly with BeanShell and Java, enabling effective customization and automation within SailPoint.

  • Solid experience integrating SailPoint with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, and connector development.

  • Familiarity with enterprise directory services such as Active Directory (AD) and LDAP, along with databases and SaaS platforms integration.

  • In-depth understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), access certification processes, compliance requirements, user lifecycle management, segregation of duties (SoD), and related IAM best practices.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen eye for detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Holding industry-recognized certifications such as SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer, CISSP, or CISM will be considered an asset.
